Christian Women: "I Surrender"

Karim Amer is an Egyptian man currently serving a four-year term in Borg al-Arab Prison in Alexandria. He was sentenced on February 22, 2007 for making dissentient statements against Islam and his government on his blog. He made these statements in a peaceful and non-threatening manner, but was still imprisoned. Amnesty International has declared him to be a prisoner of conscience and has demanded his immediate release. I think it is necessary for the international community to come to his aid at a time when he is unable to do so himself. Please sign the petition for his release and spread the word.

thank you for posting this. It's so important that that we stand for justice issues and do our part to make justice happen. I think that's what's wrong with a lot of mediocre christianity--who has time for it amidst the internet, t.v., movies and the weekend.

I've worked with Amnesty International before and I KNOW the Lord was pleased. It was wonderful. God loves justice.
